ABOUT MALCA

Art and creativity stem from both sides of my European roots. My father, the only book cover designer at Thames & Hudson; working their from a young age until his retirement in 2010. My mother, a potter first and foremost amongst other talents.

I have been drawing and painting all my life, knowing little else apart from motherhood and ten years working at Thames and Hudson following my arts degree. Here I found myself surrounded by my artist heroes in a culture of love and respect for the arts. Leaving my home in London, with a young family in tow in 1993, I moved to Norwich where I now live. My children are grown, and living their lives.

My love of drawing and my journey as an artist always questioning and learning, continues.

“I found myself surrounded by my artist heroes in a culture of love and respect for the arts”
